Helmholtz International Epigenetics Research School
The Helmholtz International Epigenetics Research School is an international and interdisciplinary graduate program centered on epigenetics research at Helmholtz Zentrum München, in Munich, Germany. It provides an optimal research and training environment for graduate students to conduct their PhD research in the field of epigenetics. Research excellence within the host teams of the epigenetics@HMGU community, is complemented with a dedicated training program and support structure, creating an environment in which academically and technically gifted individuals can excel to achieve their professional goals and develop their future career.
Graduate projects will be conducted at the cutting edge of basic, as well as translational, epigenetics research and encompass cellular plasticity, stem cells, diabetes, computational biology, epidemiology, metabolism, immunology, development and systems biology. Launched from the dynamic, international and highly collaborative epigenetics@HMGU community, the Epigenetics Research School sees students embedded in a progressive, scientifically enriching environment at all levels; in the lab, at the Helmholtz center and within Munich at large.
